Guys perspective:
I ran into my ex girlfriend shopping for baby toys with my pregnant wife. I had told her, "I'm not the marrying kind." So it was very awkward, I stopped and talked to her as my wife stood there confused by the dirty look on my former girlfriend's face. I really just don't care and I do not regret telling her I was probably never going to get married, she obviously wasn't the one for me. I found a girl I wanted to be with for the rest of my life, and it just wasn't her. How could she be mad about that? We've been broken up for years, I've moved on and she has moved on. It doesn't bother me in the least bit if she is upset, things happen and people change. She has found someone, there is an engagement ring on her finger. So why she is upset is beyond me. When you know, you know. When I met the gal I married, I knew. Any ex girlfriend of mine is in the past, what matters now is important. I'm shopping for my beautiful wife and soon to be daughter. Why is she in a baby store, maybe she is pregnant? How is that any different? She seems so mad, she would barely look into my eyes as we spoke. We only exchanged a few words, a simple "Hi, how are you?" and "It's been years, what are you up to these days?" I introduced my wife, she didn't even say hi to her. I'm still not sure why she would take this out on my wife, let alone me. Crap happens, it's not the first time she is going to run into an ex boyfriend who has moved on with his life. I'm a firm believer that there is someone out there for everyone, and you will know who right away when you meet them. I just didn't see myself with her for the rest of my life, is feeling that way a crime? I wish she would not be mad, her and my wife would get along great, they are both very alike. When I met my wife, I knew I wanted to put a ring on her finger. I did not feel that way with my ex. My wife questioned me about the women, all I told her is that it was a girl from the past. She wasn't mad like I expected, she replied with, "Well that's nice that you guys got to catch up for a minute." She's perfect.

writing assignment #6
When I log onto Twitter of Facebook lately, it seems like all I see anymore is people voicing their opinions about the Presidential election. I understand that everyone is entitled to their own opinion, but I just dont think the social media is the place for it, especially if you do not have your facts correct. People were constantly getting into arguments because of the debate and some people were getting rather offensive, in my opinion. Voicing your opinion is understandable, but criticizing or trying to persuade someone in a rude manner is not okay. This is why voting is SUPPOSED to be private and should of stayed that way, but now a days people get way out of control with trying to get people to believe the same things we do. People had no idea what they were talking about, and were arguing anyway. I also believe that if you rent even old enough to vote, then keep your opinion to yourself until you can back your beliefs up by actually voting. Younger people have no right to argue so badly if they cant even vote.

10 minute writing #3
We watched How I Met Your Mother in class today, and it was funny right off the bat. It started off with the same topic it used towards the end. I liked this episode because I often picture my life in a certain amount of years how I hope it is going to turn out. It is never anything I am currently doing just like the guys in the episode. I have big plans for my future. I liked the flashback in college where they were talking about not knowing what econ is. I found that very funny. They thought they knew and they were definitely wrong, they got a zero. I have never watched this television show before but I will definitely look for it on television. It kept me hooked and kept me laughing, I was always interested in what was going to happen next. Hopefully we get to watch television shows more often in class!
